Vikram earned a PhD in genetics from New York University, but took a leave of absence shortly thereafter to tend to his family. He turned to real estate during that sabbatical—a part-time endeavor that became a full-time passion. He honed his skills as an agent in Manhattan before moving to Montclair in 2004, where he and his family fell in love with its parks, quiet residential streets and homey town center, he says.
Vikram’s scientific background has always informed his calm, thoughtful demeanor and fuels his careful attention to clients’ needs—they praise him for noting details about homes and communities that hadn’t otherwise occurred to them. Vikram takes pride in the long-term relationships he’s built with clients as their lives have evolved from one home to the next. Outside of work, he’s stayed active in the community through charitable efforts such as food-pantry delivery to residents in need.

With a background in luxury-brand marketing, a creative approach to negotiations, and a deep understanding of residential infrastructure, she provides her clients with a unique edge in a challenging market.
Liz moved to Montclair from Manhattan in 1990, while she was working as vice president of marketing for Ralph Lauren. But after years of being involved with her local community and raising a family in Montclair, she ultimately turned her focus back home. She decided to apply her years of luxury-brand marketing to real estate sales across Montclair, Glen Ridge, Bloomfield and Verona – a move that’s placed her among the area’s top Realtors since 2008.
Soon after she started selling homes, Liz took advantage of the market turndown in 2010 by purchasing and fully renovating distressed properties, completing nearly a dozen flips by 2015. That experience instilled crucial knowledge of residential building infrastructure that’s become invaluable when negotiating on behalf of her clients. Liz also has honed a terrific resource list of tradespeople she readily shares with her clients, from first-time purchases to those right-sizing to accommodate new lifestyles. She’s widely praised for being fair, knowledgeable, and a solid business partner – a trusted advisor to her peers both inside and outside of The Liz+Vikram Team. Liz’s now-grown children, Zach and Olivia, attended The Montclair Cooperative School and Verona High School. Liz currently lives in Montclair.
